Two Major Markets Drive Growth in Pressure Sensor Spending; Asia’s First Industrial Sensing Week Kicks Off in September

New pillars of China’s economic growth are rising rapidly. Recent data show that the country’s economic structural adjustment and the transition from old to new growth drivers are accelerating. Value added in strategic emerging industries and high-tech sectors, as well as corporate profits, have maintained double-digit growth for several months running. Meanwhile, consumption now contributes more than 60% to economic growth, and the service sector accounts for 54.1% of the economy. Recently, international institutions have successively raised their forecasts for China’s economic growth rate. Several experts note that, as new growth drivers gradually mature into the main stabilizing force behind steady expansion, the economy is unlikely to reach an inflection point in the near term and is expected to maintain moderate-to-high-speed growth.
